Hunt: Showdown

Hunt: Showdown guide — bounty extract

Hunt: Showdown rewards players who treat a session as a plan, not a highlight reel. This page focuses on bounty extract so you can spend the next hour improving one habit instead of copying a random loadout. The notes below stay practical: what to do first, what to ignore, and how other players usually punish mistakes.

Hunt: Showdown still from IGN coverage

Bounty extract

The token is the objective. Hero peeks at extract are how 50 minutes disappear. That is the difference between a clean Hunt: Showdown session and a reset.

Clue to bounty

Hunt is a stealth extraction game. Dark sight is a clock, not a wallhack you hold forever.

Compound fights are third-party magnets. Finish or leave before the third team arrives.

Sound traps

Crows, horses, and chains are your HUD. Walk.

A simple Hunt: Showdown checklist

Before you queue: know the mode, the map or biome, and the kit you can afford to lose. Hunt: Showdown punishes hero loadouts more often than it punishes slow play.

After you die: write one sentence about the mistake. If the sentence is “I got unlucky,” you are not learning the game yet.
