Squad

Squad guide — armor and infantry

Squad rewards players who treat a session as a plan, not a highlight reel. This page focuses on armor and infantry so you can spend the next hour improving one habit instead of copying a random loadout. The notes below stay practical: what to do first, what to ignore, and how other players usually punish mistakes.

Squad still from IGN coverage

Armor and infantry

Tanks without infantry die to LAT. Infantry without armor die to a hill they never saw. That is the difference between a clean Squad session and a reset.

SL and HAB

Squad is a logistics FPS. A HAB without a logi run is a wipe waiting to happen.

Rally points are lives. Do not burn them on a solo ego push.

Fireteam discipline

Hold a compound instead of chasing. MGs and LAT exist for a reason.

A simple Squad checklist

Before you queue: know the mode, the map or biome, and the kit you can afford to lose. Squad punishes hero loadouts more often than it punishes slow play.

After you die: write one sentence about the mistake. If the sentence is “I got unlucky,” you are not learning the game yet.
